1. Who provides my Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection insurance cover?
Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection is especially designed by Asia Insurance (Cambodia) Plc. with your needs in mind.

2. What is my insurance coverage under the Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection program?
Your coverage shall include the following if you are an AirAsia or AirAsia X Guest traveling under the Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection:

Flight cancellation / curtailment / delay, baggage delay / loss of baggage / personal effects / money, personal accident, personal liability, accidental medical reimbursement and evacuation expenses.*


* Coverage varies depending on your plan. Please consult the Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection Product Description and Policy Wording for a full description of the terms, conditions and exclusions of cover.

3. Does Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection enforce an age limit?
Yes, the Guest must be at least 9 days old and not exceed 75 years of age to qualify for Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection.

Infants between 9 days to 24 months old traveling with an Insured Adult are covered for free! A name is not required as long as it is acknowledged that an infant is on board with the Insured Adult. The Infant's benefit is 10% of the Personal Accident Limit.

4. Do I need a medical examination to apply for any of the Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection policies?
No. A medical examination is not required. However, please note that claims arising from pre-existing medical conditions are excluded under Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection. Please see FAQ 1.5 for more information.

5. Can I still buy Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection if I have a Pre-existing Condition?
Yes, however, Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection has exclusions on Pre-existing Conditions as stated in the policy's Full Terms and Conditions.

"Pre-existing Condition" refers to injury, sickness, disease, illness or other medical conditions that required medical treatments before you purchase Tune Insure Travel Protection.


6. Can I pay extra to cover pre-existing medical conditions?
No, there is no option to pay extra to obtain cover for pre-existing medical conditions under the Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection policies.

7. Can I amend my Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection?
The Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection One-Way Cover for all destinations and Return Cover for Domestic and Regional destinations cannot be changed once your Certificate of Insurance is issued even if you are postponing or extending your trip.

Return Cover International Plans can be amended as part of your AirAsia X itinerary. Please notify Asia Insurance (Cambodia) Plc. of your itinerary change by e-mailing us here with your AirAsia Itinerary number, name, original travel dates/duration and amended travel dates/duration.

Please note that:

• Shortened trips - Refunds will not be provided.
• Extended trips - Coverage will only be extended up to either 10 or 30 days depending on the original duration of your trip.
• An updated Certificate of Insurance is not required.


8. Can I cancel my Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection?
You may not cancel your Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection.

9. Is Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection premium refundable?
Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection is non-refundable.

10. Do I have to carry a copy of my Certificate of Insurance with me when traveling?
No, you don't need to carry a copy of your Certificate of Insurance.

11. Am I required to carry any additional documents to proof my purchase when I am traveling?
No, your purchase confirmation is printed at the bottom of your AirAsia Itinerary.

12. What do I do if I did not receive or lost my Certificate of Insurance?
Your GoTune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection was successfully processed if it is reflected on the Confirmation Page and in your AirAsia Itinerary.

To get a copy, simply e-mail us your Policy Number (if available), Full Name, Flight Booking Number, Travel Dates, Date of Purchase and E-mail Address by clicking here.


13. Where should I indicate my nominee for receiving benefits?
You don't need to indicate a nominee for your Tune Insure policy! Flight or Personal Accident benefits paid due to a fatal accident will be made to the estate of the Insured while other benefits are paid directly to the Insured.

14. What happens to my Tune Insure Comprehensive Travel Protection if AirAsia reschedules my Return Flight to a later date?
Your Tune Insure Comprehensive Travel Protection is automatically extended to cover you up to a maximum of 3 days if your Return Flight is rescheduled by AirAsia to a later date.

15. How can I differentiate the Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection plan that I have purchased?
Your Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection plan is based on your paid premium. Example:

16. How do I derive the cost per person for Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection if my purchase of the Travel Protection is for more than one person under the same Travel Itinerary?
You may calculate the cost per person as follows:
(Total Premium) * divided by (Number of Persons) **
